"Poppyseeds"
There are poppyseeds growing in front of our house and I just had to draw them. I couldn’t resist. It’s basically them (the little and not so little poppyseed crew members) forcing me to sit down and portrait them :)
A little Process depicted within three images. I started with a really rough sketch to quickly get the idea I had in my head on paper. After refining the sketch a bit, I started to place some rough colors to get a feeling for what could be the final result. I wanted a warm, yet a bit gloomy atmosphere.
These are the Poppyseed Flowers which are growing in front of our house. They were the major Inspiration for this artwork.
